Deck the Halls!

I decided to alter a clipboard to use as a countdown to Christmas Day. This was my first altered clipboard and I SO love it. At first I was getting frustrated because it wasn't coming together like I pictured it in my head. The more I worked with it, the more I liked it! It took two days, about 12 hours, to totally complete.

It can be hung on the wall or set on a shelf and because it is a clipboard I'm able to change the photo every year. I flip the tags on the left daily, counting down to Christmas Day. Each tag has a scripture reference so we can read the story of Christ's birth throughout the month.

I thought pink being a new "in" Christmas color was weird at first but I love the Lil' Davis glittery pink chipboard letters that I used here. The bling on the Stampin' Up Christmas tree is so cute. Looks like Christmas lights blinking on the tree!

I guess I'm getting an early start on decking the halls for Christmas.
Thanks for taking a look and don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
