Utah Trip Summer 2010... Part 1 We're On Our Way

"We're on our way. We've packed our packs. And if we stay, we won't come back. How can we go, we haven't got a dime, but we're goin' and we're gonna have a happy time!"

This was Jordan's first time to fly and the first time that Gavin will remember flying. They couldn't wait to get on the plane.



As the plane sped up to take off Jordan said loudly, "We're gonna blast off!" She and Gavin watched out the window as we left the ground. Gavin kept telling me to look out the window but my tummy was doing flips and I couldn't feel my legs, so I kept my eyes focused on the floor. Many hours later I did muster up some courage to snap a few pictures as we descended to land in Utah.





One...two...three...four, yep, we all made it!
