Our Turn for Breathing Treatments

We've had sick kids for weeks now.
Aryn was the first to get on breathing treatments. Then Gavin's turn. Now today we find out Jordan has RSV. She's had a high fever and won't take medicine. If we get it down her throat, she just vomits a few minutes later. Stubborn stinker! The Doc said she could get an ear infection or wheezing in her chest as this progresses. And informed me she no longer saw the tubes in Jordan's ears we had put in at 1 year so if she gets an ear infection it won't just drain like with the tubes.
She looks so sick and pitiful but still so cute. I enjoy how cuddly she is when she is sick though. So I'm soaking up all the good loving she's giving away right now.

YIKES! That is terrible! Well, I completely sympathize with you... but RSV, that is scary! I hope everyone gets better soon!

Poor sick kiddos! My kids are sick right now too....it's that wonderful time of year! Jordan is just like Emily when it comes to taking medicine. Total gagger. Andrew, on the other hand, thinks it is candy or something and asks if he can have medicine when Emily is taking it. And whenever he has to take it, he asks all day if he can have more.

That's no fun, and just when you think one member of the family is done being sick, someone else is. It just seems to be a never ending cycle. I hope everyone gets better soon. Miss you guys!

Hope she gets better soon!! Taylor used to be really good at taking Tylenol. She would actually want more after her usual dose, but when we had to give her antibiotics after her surgery, she gagged on it, threw it up, and refused to take it. We ended up just having to put it in her juice. Now she doesn't like to take Tylenol either. Pharmacies can put flavoring in medicines which I will probably try next time... although I wish I had thought about it the last time because now she knows how yucky it tastes and probably still won't want to take it!

I'm sorry to hear that the kids are so sick. RSV? Wow, I guess we can be grateful that Jordan can fight it off a little better than a baby could. You can see in her picture that she looks feverish.
Breathing treatments are so much better than they used to be and the kids recover more quickly with them. Sending prayers your way, and Lots of Love!
