Random Ramblings

The sun peeked through the clouds for a little bit today. Finally, after over 10 days of complete cloud cover and constant rain. It really takes away from the feeling of the holidays when it is pouring rain and dark outside!
This is a photo taken around 3pm the other day.


I wanted to take some pictures showing the difference in shutter speeds so in between the down pours I took Jordan outside to jump in puddles. She was excited to help me out!

It was all fun and games until she tripped and fell face first in the puddle. I quickly snapped a picture, of course, then helped her get inside and into a warm bath.

Yesterday we went and welcomed this sweet little guy to the earth.

The kids are out of school so tomorrow we plan on making cookies and caramel popped corn. I also have a fun craft to do with them. It will be nice not waking up super early and spending so much time doing fun things with my kids.
