Our Holly Jolly Christmas...

Photobucket

We had a wonderful Christmas! We always enjoy spending so much time with family and loved ones. We missed so many of our friends and family that weren't with us to celebrate this year but know we were thinking of you all.
Everyone loved what they received. I was really excited to surprise my husband with a PSP this year. He was in shock and had no idea that was what I got him. He assumed it would be the Warcraft expansion. Our big girls got digital cameras and MP3 players. Gavin finally got his very own DS and the Force Unleashed Star Wars game. We got Jordan a Leapster 2, but we call it her DS, along with a Dora and Backyardagians game. My hubby got me a bind-it-all so I can bind my own scrapbook albums. I can't wait to get a free minute to try it out!
Of course, we played games. Aw, Heck was fun even though Amy was off her game and lost for the very first time. We also played Sequence (I bought it for us for Christmas, lol.)
This time we brought along Rock Band since my parents bought us Rock Band 2 for Christmas. It was fun to play with everyone. My brother Nathan and his wife came over Friday and they loved it! We rocked for hours. My dad even played the guitar a while and my mom started making requests for which songs. The funniest was when John sang a Beastie Boys song. He was wearing a hoodie so he pulled up his hood and rapped like he was the long lost Beastie boy. It was great!
My sister-in-law finished Twilight Saturday morning at 6am so all the girls went to see the movie again at 10:30am. It was my 4th time! Edward will never get boring, lol. This is the only movie I have ever paid to see in theaters 4 times! AJ has now been bitten and wants to read the books. No one can resist the world's most perfect predator.
Now we are back home just relaxing and enjoying a little {mostly} quiet time. Tomorrow we are going out to lunch and taking the kids to spend their Christmas money before it burns a hole in their pockets. They've been begging to go spend it since Thursday!
I hope everyone had a holiday as happy as ours.

Love the pictures! We sure missed having Christmas with you guys! You were truly our "family away from family". It was nice to finally be with my family for Christmas though.
