We meet my parents, my three sisters, and one of my brothers and their families at a park across from the aquarium and had a picnic lunch and let the kids run around for a little bit and play on the playground. Then we headed over to the aquarium.
We started with the river building first. As soon as we walked in there was a snake that you could touch. The kids were really interested. Jordan was until it was her turn to touch it and she screamed and ran away.
Next we looked at the seahorses. I really enjoy watching the ones that look like seaweed. The seahorse is circled. So cool!

Then everyone had to have a turn peeking in the center of the tank with Nemo and Dori!
Some of the kids were brave and pet the sturgeons. The water looks pretty gross even though I know it is clean. The cute little elephant in Tarzan comes to mind..."is this water sanitary?...lol.
Over at the ocean building we stopped at the penguins first. The penguins were so funny. They would stop at the glass and it seemed like they would stare at the kids, lol.
Then we got to our favorite spot...the sting ray and small shark petting area. Jordan and Blake were soaked by the time they were done.
Walking through the those humongous tanks filled with all of the interesting and amazing creatures never gets old.
On the ride home most of us fell asleep for at least some of the trip.
It was another day of family fun!
