This Tuesday Andrew and Jordan had a great time filling the vent with Little People toys. Andrew's Mom or I would pull out the toys and put them in the sink to be washed. EEWWW! Nasty things are down there! By the end of the day this is what was collected in the sink.Wednesday, November 28, 2007
I just have to VENT!
Every Tuesday my sister, Amy, and a few friends come to my house and we scrapbook all day. We always have a great time together. Mostly, it's nice to have some adult conversation. All of us have little ones. Four of us have little ones around 1.5 years old! It can get crazy but for the most part the kids have fun playing together. (On a good day anyway.) Well, one little boy, Andrew, has a thing for the air vents in our floor. He takes off the vent cover and fills the vent with toys!

As soon as we took out the toys and put the cover back on, he had the cover off and was dropping in toys as fast as he could. We were laughing so hard! At his own home the vents are in the ceiling so, luckily, it's not a constant problem for his mom. He is what I call a quiet thinker. He doesn't cry and scream all the time, like Jordan. He thinks out a plan and quietly executes it.

Gotta love Andrew! That's so funny. What a cutie.
OMG! How funny! I probably would have joined in on the fun since I am in a rut scrapbooking.
Kids are so funny!
That is just classic. And it is better that they were laughing...at least they are consistant. It looks like buy the end of the day they would be out of toys to put down the hole.
by the way, rach do you know why I can't post on Amy's blog. I tried, but I can't click on any links on her page.
haha.. that's so funny! I wish the vents in our house were in the ceiling, but ours are on the floor too. I have accidentally dropped stuff down them myself many times.. haha... I can only imagine what it will be like when Taylor discovers that she can drop things down there (we can't get the stuff back out of ours though). Hopefully we won't still be in this house by that time!
Love the new slide show!
Thanks for the comment on Heath. Things are basically back to normal now...if there's such thing as normal :)
I'm glad our vents are in the ceiling (my kids do enough interesting things with other house things...like our foyer light, they love to throw things in it because it is a 2 story one), that's too funny about all the toys! :) Y'all are good sports!
Rachel, what a joy! I know why you are still sane...scrap booking! Love you lots.
