Each girl picked the color and helped me hang the tulle. They love it and so do I.
We made each bed canopy using about 8 yds of tulle. Using coupons cut the cost in almost half which made this project very affordable. I love coupons! We simply cut the tulle into thirds, then gathered and stapled the tulle where the wall and ceiling meet. Super easy and fast with super cute results.
My nephews came for a visit. Avery, who loves food, walks in the front door and heads straight to my pantry because he knows where to find the snacks at Jordan's house. He pushed the huge container of anmial crackers everywhere he went.

He is so cute and sweet. He said Aunt Rachel in his darling baby talk and it seriously melted my heart.
We went to see Gnomeo and Juliet in the dollar theater. Can you see the excitement on our children's faces?

It was a pretty cute movie, but not good enough to go out and buy, in my opinion. It did, however, make me want to buy a cute little lawn gnome couple and maybe a couple of pink flamingoes, too. Hahaha.
Some how Wednesday turned into a Brad Pitt movie marathon. We watched Meet Joe Black then The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. When we watch shows/movies we always skip steamy scenes and while watching romantic movies you are bound to run into them. By the end of the day any time someone kissed in a movie, even if it was just a kiss good-bye, Jordan would yell, "Skip!" She had us laughing pretty hard. It ended up being a wonderful hump day!
I found one of my favorite children's books, Llama Llama Red Pajama, for only $5 dollars this week at Khol's. I had looked at Barnes and Noble a few months back and it was priced at almost $20. So, I waited and I'm glad I did!
Jordan loves this book as much as I do. We've read it together a million times already.

Another book Jordan loves to read together right now is We Are In A Book.

I laughed out loud while reading through this book at the book store. I knew I had to buy it.

As our ward's camp leader I was in charge of our hike. We hiked a little over 3 miles. The girls were great. We have a wonderful group of Young Women. I'm so excited about camp!

We had 5 extra kids at our house practically all day Saturday. I was a little nervous about doubling the amount of kids for a day, but it turned out to be pretty easy and lots of fun for everybody.
This little guy cracked me up saying, "Boom, boom. Bad guys," every time he picked up this gun.

The kids had fun outside on the playset and in the wade pool for most of the afternoon.

Jordan enjoyed helping me take care of the baby.

Don't you just love his chubby cheeks?

Jordan's favorite game to play as a family right now is Uno. Check out this game face.

Sunday the Young Women came to get Natalee from Primary and welcomed her to Beehives. My girl is turning 12.

We have two daughters in Young Women! How did this happen? It seems like just last month they were tiny, adorable little girls. Now, they are beautiful young women expressing their opinions and independence, which isn't as adorable as it was when they were toddlers. :)
Well, that's a peek into our week, what I can remember anyway. I really should keep a notebook and write stuff down because I know I forget some of the small things before I get the time to type it all out.
Thanks for stopping by.
