Just a quick post of a picture I captured last night as the storm passed. John enjoys standing outside watching the lightning and he always comes in and says, "You've got to come watch this!" So, this time I grabbed my camera before I joined him. It is always so beautiful and amazing to watch. This was my first attempt to capture lightning and I wasn't really set up for it. I should have used the tripod to steady the camera but this was impromptu so I got shaky pics. Some weren't too bad. This one is my favorite.
Now that I have the new storage for my photos I was finally able to upload pics to my computer. I hope to catch up with more posts soon but right now I have to price an entire room full of items I need to take to the consignment shop in the morning. It is going to be a long day!

That's funny. I took pics last night of the lightening too and I have almost the same shot! No need to post mine now! Great minds huh?!

Cool picture. I don't think I've ever captured lightning before...don't know that I've ever tried. I'm usually inside!
