I'm a Proud Big Sister...

My brother Nathan Broadhurst of Albertville announced his plans to seek the Republican Party nomination for Alabama House District 26 today at noon on the steps of the courthouse in Albertville.

In his speech he said, "Conservatism is really nothing more than the idea that an individual knows best how to govern their lives and that the government only exists to protect their right and ability to do so. I think most people still believe this. And I hope to give them the opportunity to elect someone who will always stand firm on this idea."

He did a wonderful job. I'm so proud of him!

House District 26 represents parts of Marshall and DeKalb counties including Albertville, Boaz, Douglas, and Geraldine. So if you live in that area I encourage you to follow his campaign. He's an excellent man for the job.

I'm done bragging! :)

Oh my goodness! I feel really old now!

That is awesome! I love what he said and we definately could use someone that is there for the rights of the people. Too bad I am not in your district! :) Good luck Nathan!
