Hair Today...

Gone tomorrow.
Well, Jordan got a hold of scissors again and this time she did some real damage to her hair. She took a chunk out in the front that looks like a buzz cut. Thankfully, it is small part and what is left of her bangs help hide that part. She also cut one side to her ear, yeah, really short.
I was out with my Mom and she talked me into letting someone "fix" it. I figured it was beyond fixing but she insisted. We took her to a salon, where she cried and would not sit in the chair. I ended up sitting with her in my lap as the lady tried to cut Jordan's hair. Later she referred to the stylist as a doctor, so that must be why she was freaking out. I teared up as they were cutting. I really like long hair on little girls for pig tails and cute styles but I guess Jordan does not. The stylist did a good job for what she had to work with. Now Jordan has a little pixie bob and really short bangs but at least it looks like it was meant to be that way. :)
I was surprised when she asked to wear a clip in her hair today because she hates getting her hair fixed but she kept it in all day and showed it off to anyone who would listen! I made the hair clip so I thought it was sweet she was so excited to show it off.
You may not be able to tell from this pic...Jordan was being stubborn (I don't know where she gets it!?) and wouldn't look at me...but the sides come to the bottom of her ear and the back just touches her collar.

Then today a friend of mine who has a new little one and an 18 month old wanted to get her hair cut so we planned to go the same time and take turns watching each others kids while the other had her hair done. So it was my turn for a new do. My hair had really gotten long. I liked it but it was time for a cut, lots of split ends and all, and now it's time for a color. (I'm thinking of going a really dark red, like a cranberry red! If I have to color it I might as well have fun, right!) I like my new do. It's fun and funky when I straighten it and still cute left curly.

This is John's fav so I had to include it since he was so nice to take the pics for me. I wonder if it is his fav because I always look like this to him since he is so much taller than me, lol.

Good thing Jordan is so cute that she can pull anything off. Cute hair clip too!

I like your new cut as well. And, I agree with John, the last pic is the best.

It's always sad when a kid cuts their own hair, but your little one has a cute new do! I love your hair too! :)

Jordan is such a cutie she'll be able to pull it off! I think I will bawl my eyes out if Taylor ever does that to her hair!! I love long hair, too, even if she doesn't like me doing anything with it. I love your haircut, too. I hate that I had to miss church today and didn't get to see the new do's. I hate pictures of me looking up like that, but you look great!!

Jordan is lucky to be so stinkin' cute that she can pull off any hairstyle! Love the clip, too! And you look great too! I think red would definitely be fun. I've never dyed my whole head a color before, but I've done red highlights a couple of times, and I liked it.
