Just after school got out we celebrated Natalee's 9th birthday with a swim party. She said it was her best party ever!
Everyone got in the pool for a while.
Then we had sandcastle cake and strawberry truffle that looked like a bucket of sand.
After cake it was time to open presents. Natalee got some great gifts plus a total of $90! (She bought an MP3 player, 4 littlest pet shop sets, an underwater one time use camera, a new swim suit, and other fun stuff!)
Then they had a water balloon fight. It took forever to fill those balloons and just a few seconds to throw them all!
The next weekend we celebrated Memorial Day with some of our friends as last get together with the Quinns before they moved.
We played the Wii. Everyone enjoyed that! Especially little Andrew Quinn. He loved bowling.
Then the dads went swimming with the kids.
We had such a great time!

Did you get that cake idea from Family Fun magazine??? haha! It looks identical! And can I just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE how fun and creative you are! You guys always do little celebrations and fun family things... It's very inspiring. I hope our family will be like yours~!
Wow! That cake is awesome! I really want to learn how to do that kind of stuff! I can't believe the Quinn's are gone :-(
